How to find us

By subway to Bahrenfeld station

Hamburg is one of the main junctions for all railway traffic in northern Germany. Therefore, almost all trains, including ICE, EC/IC and IR, stop in Hamburg either at "Hamburg Central Station" and/or "Hamburg-Altona".

From both "Hamburg Central Station" and "Hamburg-Altona" you can take either the subway S1 or S11 (green line on the subway map) in direction "Altona/Blankenese/Wedel" to "Bahrenfeld" station. The travelling time from "Hamburg Central Station" to "Bahrenfeld" will take approx. 20 minutes and from "Hamburg-Altona" approx. 3 minutes.

To Head office

At "Bahrenfeld" get off the subway and take the exit to "Hegarstraße" which is located halfway between the station. Turn right into "Hegarstraße" and at the intersection of "Hegarstraße" and "Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg" turn right into "Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg". After a few more steps visitors can easily spot the tall white Euler Hermes building on the left hand side. The walk from the train station to Euler Hermes takes about 3 minutes.

To "Export Credit Guarantee Division"

At Bahrenfeld get off the subway and take the exit to "Hegarstraße" which is located halfway between the station. Turn right into "Hegarstraße" and at the intersection of "Hegarstraße" and "Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg" turn left into "Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg". Walk straight on until you reach the first cross road on the right, which is "Gasstraße". Turn right into "Gasstraße" until you reach the house number 27 on the right hand side.

By car to Head office

Visitors travelling on the motorway A7 should take the exit "Bahrenfeld". Coming from the south, take the right lane of the exit (2nd exit after passing the Elbtunnel), turn right onto "Von-Sauer-Straße" and turn immediately right again onto "Pfitznerstraße" which later on turns into "Friedensallee". After approx. 1.5 km there is an intersection called "Friedensallee" and "Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg". Turn left into "Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg" and almost immediately right onto the Euler Hermes premises.

Coming from the north, take the middle lane of the exit and make a left turn into "Von-Sauer-Straße" in direction "Elbbrücken/Centrum/Altona". Stay on the right lane of "Von-Sauer-Straße" and, after crossing the motorway bridge, make a right turn into "Pfitznerstraße" which later on turns into "Friedensallee". After approx. 1.5 km there is an intersection called "Friedensallee" and "Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg". Turn left into "Bahrenfelder Kirchenweg" and almost immediately right onto the Euler Hermes premises.

By plane and taxi directly to the Head office

Visitors arriving in Hamburg by aircraft can pick the S-Bahn line S1 (the „Green Line“on the S-Bahn card) in direction „Blankenese“ or „Wedel“ until the Stopp „Bahrenfeld“. The travel time is around 40 minutes with no need to change.

The riding time by taxi varies between 20 and 45 minutes, depending on the traffic.
