Brief information on Zambia

Short-term Cover facilities are available for transactions with contract values of up to EUR 100,000.
Under wholeturnover policies transactions up to a maximum of EUR 500,000 can be covered.
Medium/long-term Cover facilities are available on a case-by-case basis for transactions with private buyers and with public buyers provided that they are established as private sector organizations and operate without recourse to public funds.
In addition, cover is available for project financed and other structured finance deals, where necessary based on countertrade transactions.
Collateral If the foreign buyer’s creditworthiness is inadequate, bank security is required.
For transactions with public buyers a guarantee from the Ministry of Finance must be provided.
