Short-term Cover facilities are only available if the buyer is an affiliated company or if the buyer belongs to an international group the creditworthiness of which is beyond doubt and informative, up-to-date information material on the debtor is available which, subject to the application of strict criteria, justifies the granting of cover without collateral.
Medium/long-term No cover facilities available for public buyers.
Cover facilities are available for smaller transactions with private buyers and, on a case-by-case basis, with public buyers provided that they are established as private sector organizations and operate without recourse to public funds.
In addition, cover is available for project financed and other structured finance deals, where necessary based on countertrade transactions.
Collateral Collateral is not normally required.
